Renovating the floor is one of the effective ways to create a major change in a living space. Renovation however, doesn’t have to be a major work of taking out the old flooring and installing a new one. A simple work of doing something about the floor’s exterior can do a lot of good. No carpentry, installation or poking here and there needed. Sure, cleaning does wonders too but complementing the flooring with the room’s color, decors and/or fixtures gives a room an appealing interior. Have you just surveyed your bedroom and felt bored just by looking at it? Do you find yourself often sighing out of frustration for the same old look you see? Do you wish you could sleep and relax in a different place but one that you can still call your very own? If only Donald Trump could give you a free pad in one of his Trump apartments… The hallmarks of the contemporary aesthetic are the use of neutral tones and clean, sleek lines paired with little to no excess details. This doesn’t, however, mean that you have to deck your room out with all the sterility of a hospital. Going overboard with the contemporary look almost always ends up with a room that looks and feels cold and aloof. With enough variety and a few homey touches, you should be able to achieve a space that looks modern and feels comfortable enough to live in. |
